We grabbed a camera and braved a rained out Chapel Street in St Kilda to visit one of our clients, Little Peddler, who specialise in hawker-style street food.

Their quirky yet charming fit-out is made up of recycled building materials – including timber trusses, window frames and notably, a heap of terracotta roof tiles that have been stacked and cemented to create a striking bar facade – and modest replica decor.

Colourful festoon lights are draped around, shedding light on the distressed render and various cooking products that sit cosy amongst the four-by-twos and stained glass window frames. And the smells…. my god, the smells.
