Payment Terms

Our bills are payable within 14 days of the date of the bill. If you do not pay our bill by the due date, you are liable for, and will indemnify us in respect of, all reasonable expenses (including expenses such as debt collection commission and bank charges) and legal costs (on an indemnity basis) incurred by us in the enforcement of your obligations, and the recovery of monies or other things due from you to us. In addition, we  may, by written notice to you, suspend or stop work, whether under a particular Agreement or generally until you have paid all outstanding amounts.

If you fail to pay our bills within 14 days of the date of the bill, we also have the option to cease working until the relevant payments are made.

A payment processing fee applies if you pay your bill by credit card and will be charged to your credit card at the time your bill is paid.

We may send bills, and you consent to receiving bills:

  • by email address or mobile phone number to the address or number specified by you; or
  • by fax to the number specified by you; or
  • by any other means of electronic transmission agreed to by you and us.

You shall not be entitled to set off against, or deduct from the invoiced price, any sums owed or claimed to be owed to you by us nor to withhold payment of any invoice because part of that invoice is in dispute.

Interest on unpaid accounts

If a bill remains unpaid 30 days after we issue it to you, we may charge you interest at a rate not exceeding the rate fixed under the Penalty Interest Rate Act 1983, plus 2 per cent, from the date the bill is issued.

If you have a concern about our costs

If you have any concerns about our costs, please do not hesitate to contact Marlon Platt on 0411 109 468.  It is important to us that, in consenting to the proposed scope of work for your matter (and the proposed costs), you are informed and understand the work involved.
